I might wonder at your personal view of those who were opposing your efforts. Did they think the process fair? Forcing those pleas just to end punishment has been evil to watch.

No. I have much to criticize in both substance and process followed by the DOJ prosecutors and the FBI. They prioritized winning over due process. They lost track of the fact that their first obligation was to "do justice."

It’s why it’s called The Department of Justice. They forgot the Justice part.

Why? These are bright people, already successful. They did not just "lose track." If just one of them is capable of introspection, a bestselling tell-all book could be a path to cowtowing to the new people in power.

It’s a start which will hopefully continue in a thoughtful, detailed and fact based way. Let’s also get full sunlight on the government’s and those working for/associated with the governments role in the J6 episode. I, for one, am not convinced we have been given the full story on that event.

We can hope the J6 saga can be explored by competent journalists. Multiple threads need consideration. Why were noisy citizens so brutally treated? Too many lives harmed for no purpose.

Looking forward to your additional insight! This is historic for the DOJ and FBI

I’m intrigued by your analysis. Although, I’m not quite sure your analysis of the FBI is perceptive. (I’m a former FBI agent —12 years— with experience in four field divisions and headquarters. Then 9 years in the SES with IG’s and three years on the Hill [US House of Representatives. ] Pam Bondi and Kash Patel have their work cut out for them. They are off to a good start though with removing senior management. “A stream polluted at its source cannot be cleaned.” I hope they have prople on staff who are experienced with bureau culture and records management. In there lies any “smoking gun.“ (Worked on the GAO review, Watergate investigation and Church Committee investigation. It was a game of hide and seek: “an Easter egg hunt—we hide and you find.“

From what I heard is that the people in DOJ and/or FBI who were running the J6 thing would send leads to field offices and in some of cases the agents would do some investigating and send it back as nothing was found worth going forward...and DC would reply keep looking and wouldnt let them close the cases out without an arrest. I also heard back a couple years ago, that some agents were resisting doing J6 cases. Now, obviously with the amount of prosecutions, that was not the norm, but I did hear it happened that way sometimes.

Would like to know more, those who refused to arrest "parading" grandmas should be promoted.
