Thanks for publicizing this idiocy! It never ceases to amaze how willingly blue state taxpayers will empty their pockets to fund obvious grifts and kickback schemes as long as "combating climate change" is the stated purpose. Every day incontrovertible evidence emerges that the entire "movement" is based on fallacies. Fun fact: More CO² is greening the planet, not turning it into a boiling desert wasteland. Meanwhile, NGOs and their senior employees are getting rich as they pretend to pursue what is best described as a quixotic quest to alter an ecosystem in which the sun is the greatest and unassailable factor. The UK and the EU are going broke pursuing this nonsense (among other things) and blue states here are following them off the cliff like lemmings.

The Democrats have become home for every bad idea and every grift imaginable.

Yep !

If they were really concerned about the environment they'd try working with the farmers and ranchers to find ways of working together.

But unfortunately it's not about that !

It's all about control. Their Authoritarianism and creating false Altruism is all that matters.

When someone starts a business their main goal is to make a profit, but that is all dependent on the consumers .

But the NGOs revenues come from the government. And government doesn't create anything.

And Authoritarians like to control the 3 Ps of Business , The Price, the product, and the means of production.

Point Reyes North of San Francisco is a perfect example of it!

15 ranches were forced to shutdown because they couldn't meet the overburdening regulations and fees.

There were also a couple of smaller daries that closed as well.

I'm reading a great story about Washington state and the timber industry.

She goes into everything about the grift of the "Green Movement" and how the super wealthy are behind it all. Looks like they use the greenies as weapons to drive people out of areas they want. Then they take them for themselves.

I would bet that reads like a John Grisham novel.

She drops a lot of facts, well researched, but there's always some unexpected action, some twist of the plot. I'm at chapter 13.

I read a lot of stuff every day, but I'm only reading hunger mountain when I can give it full attention.

The only difference between how the State of Washington treats farmers and how South Africa tretas them is that so far WA is paying NGOs to harass the farmers off their land while SA just skips that part and goes straight to killing them.

The results will probably be the same. Reduced yields on farms. Higher food prices.

The people behind the NGO's are not above killing.

They are truly evil, so why not.

Wood chippers.

Freeze whatever you put in the chippers first. It's less messy.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

No doubt those NGOs and their minions give generously to Democrats. They would be crazy not to.

The main difference between the Washington State and Minnesota waste, fraud, abuse is that Washington has figured out how to make it legal.
