Part 3: IRS Whistleblowers Rightfully Blame Assistant U.S. Attorneys In The District of Delaware For Showing Favoritism to Hunter Biden
The Position DEMANDS Fealty to Impartiality -- Your Signature Ruins the Life of Those You Chose to Indict.
This is my final installment of the review of the IRS Whistleblowers allegations of misconduct by Department of Justice Attorneys in the sham prosecution of Hunter Biden for tax crimes.
It’s really long — that’s why it has taken me so long to put it together. It begins with a bit of background on how investigation teams like the one used for Hunter Biden’s tax case are assembled. It then transitions to a LONG timeline using dates and events taken from both regular news sources and the transcripts of the two whistleblowers. It ends with some of my own observations about the role and action of the DOJ attorneys involved.
The two whistleblowers, both criminal investigators with more than a decade of experience each, came forward with their information to the House Ways and Means Committee, which has primary oversight responsibility for the IRS. The information they can lawfully provide as whistleblowers is limited by the statute under which they are authorized to disclose information to Congress. What Congress chooses to do with the information is up to Congress. Here the two IRS criminal investigators sat for transcribed interviews with Committee staffers behind closed doors. One was the Case Agent who started the investigation of Hunter Biden as a spin-off from a much larger investigation into internet porn and prostitution, and the other was the Supervisor of the IRS Group running the investigation.
The members of the Ways and Means Committee who voted to release the transcripts to the public. Every Republican member of the Committee voted in favor of releasing the transcripts.
Every Democrat member of the Committee voted to keep the information secret — hidden from the scrutiny of the American public and media.
