Special Counsel Smith Propose to Dump All His Evidence Into The Public Record -- So Withdraw the Motion For Presidential Immunity and Appeal.

There have been — and continue to be — many “What about if we did this?” moments in my career where it was always advisable that I pick up the phone and contact a couple of lawyers who I have great respect for, and their initial reaction was usually “I don’t think you’ve thought this through enough.” That reaction rarely dissuaded me in the final analysis, but it does tend to slow me down and cause me take a minute to look “around the corner” and consider the possible collateral consequences of a wild-ass “damn the torpedos” tactical decision.

Neither answered their phones earlier tonight when I called — Leslie McAdoo Gordon only responded with a string of crying emojis and a “Hahahahaha” — so I’m just going to launch it here for mass consumption and reaction:
