1. Her wording was unfortunate. It was imprecise enough to carry the implication that something existed. That part's on her -- given her occupation, she should know better than to emit a statement like that.
2. I think at one point all the evidence the public is clamoring for _did_ exist, but we must not forget that the first of the investigations were in/around 2008, which means we've had multiple different administrations in control of anything found. That's a lot of time for inconvenient things to be disappeared or to lose any credible chain of custody evidence. The Trump administration could potentially shed more transparency around this scenario if there's anything to be said and allay some concerns.
I don't disagree but she had been on the job only 17 days and I'm certain there were DOZENS of matters she was briefed on that were ahead of what needed to be done on the Epstein matter. So she gets a question that I suspect she had only passing knowledge of as of that day and she didn't focus on the "list of clients" specificity - she just said it was one of several matters the President had said to review. This was a wide-ranging free-flowing interview with Roberts.
Since this became a news topic, I understood “it” to be the file, since attorneys and those who work files something on the desk means the file with everything pertaining to the case in the file. Glad I never got too whipped up by this matter except when the guy died.
Appreciate your filling in all the blanks, although another attorney (part of the defense) delivered the same info, it is great to have trustworthy confirmation.
All this whoo-ha is making me care about Epstein when I didn’t care before. It shouldn’t take a lawyer 3000 words to unravel what Bondi said, and explain binders given to influencers. I have grown so tired of gaslighting, obfuscation and dissembling that I’m looking unkindly at people who do this. Speak clearly, dammit!
These actions and explanations pretty much are the framework of what I DIDN’T vote for. I wish Trump would jump in with both feet, say what’s going to happen going forward and then get back to the reasons I DID vote for him, and stop taking any questions on this topic ever again…
Thank you for dummy proofing the explanation of the current situation for dummies like me. My ADD brain absorbed & understood every word you carefully wrote.
I wish Robert Barnes were as level headed as you on this subject matter. He's gone off the cliff🤷♀️
Dude, you've crapped on strawmen ("the list"!!) sufficiently with however many words you've written so far on this topic, and done a great job telling us how we should interpret human conversation in the English language. Are we to assume that you think there's nothing to see here? No intel connections? No powerful people implicated? No foreign interests at play here? Because those seem like the things ordinary non-ultra-maga people kinda do care about just a bit, and why people are scratching their heads with the absolute 180 degree on-a-fucking-dime turnaround from the Trump admin.
What EVIDENCE is there of 1) intel connections, 2) powerful people implicated, 3) foreign interests, etc., other than the commentary from the fevered swamps on social media that all conclude that those things just must be present to confirm the biases they brought to the subject?
As a professional disability I tend to focus on the evidence first, and the conspiracies last.
I do not know precisely what evidence there is but to say that there is a forest fire of smoke around this story, is to understate things severely. And more and more with each passing day it seems. And you have not come close to dissuading anyone that the DOJ is not exactly being forthcoming with information.
Thank God for you…A voice of sanity. I’m most disappointed in the voices I agreed with most of he time, who have been robust trump supporters….until now…( Bannon, Kirk and Beck) just to name a few….These are normally politically savvy pundits, who do not seem to understand the damage they have incurred on Pres Trump…
The damage was done by Trump and Bondi themselves. Their communication about this matter was incredibly poor.
Sure, maybe SWC can read between the lines, but Trump and Bondi - both being very good communicators - could have easily provided an explanation without legalese that would have been more understandable by the non-lawyers. Instead, Trump decided to insult his supporters and call them hoaxers - a really absurd approach given the sensitivity of the material and the airtime/ink it was given across the board.
This doesn't affect my support of this administration. Saying their conclusions about Epstein were presented poorly is a huge understatement.
This article is a joke -- you're attempting to claim we want a "client list". "Client list" is simply a placeholder for -- we want some explanation as to what the F*CK has been going on.
Epstein was NOT a Financier. There is no record of Epstein trading with anyone. Epstein was curiously at the center of power across multiple industries. Epstein was at the center of power across multiple countries. Epstein has pictures of himself and powerful people with these underaged girls. Trump himself, Patel, Bongino, Trump Jr ALL have been hauling this for years.
To suddenly come out -- AFTER Musk accused Trump himself of being part of this -- and disingenuously claiming there is "nothing to see" here while standing in front of a giant pile of flaming shit -- is simply u serious and an utter joke and insult to millions of Americans who can see what's right in front of their eyes.
To then have a hack of a Fed, like Ship, come out and defend this nonsense and try to explain things they are perfectly capable of explaining themselves is a clown show.
Shop has used all sorts of misdirection and obfuscation in this defense that it's comical.
Trumps base is not stupid -- and recognizes when they are being played as fools.
None of this passes the smell test -- and having Ship jump up to defend the corrupt actions of a federal deep state is hardly a surprise. He has never met corruption that he is unwilling to defend.
Well said. And, by the way, it's not just the crazed ultra-uber-fascist-maga-on-steroids people that Ship refers to calling for answers. Dems in congress (of all people) are quickly getting on board (no pun intended) as well.
Public statements by some of the young victims seem to implicate multiple unnamed third parties apart from Epstein himself in the sexual abuse they suffered. One might expect that some of that abuse by others was captured on the abundant videos the DOJ seized from Epstein, yet the recent announcement by the DOJ appears to refute that. Some people, myself included, find it hard to reconcile that inconsistency. It's a situation of #believe all women plus government officials are known in the past to have lied to cover up embarrassing scandals. Can we trust Bondi and Patel to be telling us the truth? Do they deserve or have they earned our trust? I am inclined to think the Epstein matter is not the highest or best priority for Trump's DOJ at the moment, but it would be nice to get some solid finality to the matter in the long term.
Put them here. There are a couple that are well known but nothing that would even hint at the massive scale suggested by the Epstein Pedo Island Conspiracy Theory crowd.
You'll never get finality with this case any more than there is finality for the JFK assassination or even Pearl Harbor. There are always people invested in a bigger conspiracy. Their reasons may vary, but they always can sell books and clicks.
This is a great explanation of where we are now. It seems many of the problems we now face are the result of a failure to educate the general public on how to gather factual information and apply critical reasoning skills to evaluate that information (i.e., basic education) and the general corruption of our major institutions by bad actors pushing ideological agendas at odds with Western civilization in general and the US Constitution in particular.
Too bad no one from the administration provided any reconciliation. Trump telling everyone to sit down and shut up is what's really driving this conspiracy.
I can’t believe all in one month that this Bush camp deep state bitch @pambondi allowed Maurene Comey, the daughter of James Comey, to kill the Diddy case and let the child abuser perps walk, kill the Epstein case and lets the child trafficking and abuser perps walk, and then in the most egregious and evil move yet kills the case again Albert Bourla and his company Pfizer allowing the genocide of 17 million Americans via the bio weapon vaccine and I’ve got people on my followers list telling me to “trust the plan!” I trust the facts and the facts show @realDonaldTrump is now betraying us with his little partner in crime and by the way Trumps FDA just last week authorized vaccinating toddlers from 6 month old to 11 year old with untested and known to be deadly mRNA jabs 🚨
Thank you for clarifying an isue made overly contentious by ignorance and street corner gossip. As Mr. Trump has indicated get over it. David Stern

Imprecise? She is the US Attorney General you know. I thought the Biden admin had low standards, but this is getting ridiculous.
Thank you Ship. Clear, concise, and to the point.
A FRIGGING +!!! (This is the next level above the A+ grade. LOL)
Glad a paid!

Not 3000 words. Likely less than 1500. If it was over 3000 you would know it -- your eyes would be bleeding.
My eyes have been bleeding since Biden took office…

😅😅😅
Amen brother.

Trump's base is not stupid.
It just happens to include stupid people like you.
Well said. And, by the way, it's not just the crazed ultra-uber-fascist-maga-on-steroids people that Ship refers to calling for answers. Dems in congress (of all people) are quickly getting on board (no pun intended) as well.
You mean the Dems that had access to this information from 2021 to 2025?
Have you seen Jamie Raskin's effort to answer that specific question from Joe Scarborough this morning?
The point being tbat their constituants are interested as well, not just the level 12 magas you refer to.
Gotta say that you are weirdly committed to tamping down this particular issue.

These finely-split hairs are meaningless. What the people want is Punishment.
If Epstein’s clients are punished, then what Bondi said or didn’t say doesn’t matter.
If they are not… same thing.
Well said.
